All essential oils used in the practical classes are provided by Suzanne.  Essential oils are an additional cost and can be bought over the first few months of training.  The course tutor, Suzanne Le Quesne, will provide all the carrier oils and essential oils needed for the training itself – and only uses 100% pure essential oils by Young Living and other reputable companies.

Practical Day 1 – on this first day we will look at your oils – label them, and place them in your carrying case in alphabetical order – discuss various ways you can store your oils – by ‘note’, by the chemistry of the oils, or simply alphabetical, and many other ways.  A discussion will take place about your portfolio and case study requirements.

There will be a demonstration of an aromatherapy back massage – using a pre-blended oil, as discussed by the group – and students will practice on each other. (pre-blended oils are Level 2 Aromatherapy, and we start with pre-blended to save time – in order to learn the practical massage in the time we have on Day 1).

Practical Day 2 Day 2 will start with a recap of Day 1,  then demonstration and practice of massage on the backs of legs.  Students practice on each other.   A facial massage will then be demonstration and students practice on each other. Day 2 includes blending and using your own blends.  Day 2 will end with a Q&A session.

Practical Days, 3, 4, 5  will be learning the legs, arms, abdomen massage and practicing of the full body massage. On these days we learn blending techniques and create blends for yourself and your classmates.  There is time to practice both the blending and the practical massage techniques.  Consultation Skills are discussed as is giving after care advice and how to set up a practice.

Written Paper for any student wanting to attempt the written paper on any of these days, time will be allocated to them, either before or after the demonstrations and practical sessions.

Check Dates and Prices for next available practical course dates.  The home study modules can be started at any time before the practical days.  There is a time limit for completion.  The time limit for completion is 6 months after the practical days.

  1. Hi I live in Malaga Costa del Sol…I am looking for an Aromatherapy / Essential Oils course, as I would like to start a new career…I have purchased several books and am doing on-line research, as a starting point….I have got a few basic oils but have not used them yet. Would your course be right for me, I am 63 and have a background in Design. I am also studying Crystal Healing, and have just done a course in Reiki.
